ABOUT
A counter in Parrys.
Armenian Street has supplied Chennai’s trades for generations. We have been the HVAC&R spares end of that street since 1981 — parts on shelves, priced for the trade.
About Refrigeration Centre
Founded in 1981 by Mr. Suresh Kumar Nahata in Parrys, Chennai, Refrigeration Centre has grown over four decades into a trusted, technically driven HVAC&R distribution company.
Built on honesty, quality, technical knowledge, strong relationships and constant hustle, the company began with refrigeration parts, copper, AC components and refrigerants, and has continually evolved with the industry.
Saurabh Jain, the second generation, joined the business in 2009 and took over its leadership following his father’s passing in 2011. Carrying forward his father’s name and legacy, Saurabh has expanded the business across copper pipes & fittings, refrigerants, insulation, HVAC&R tools, valves & controls, compressors, electrical products and more, while modernizing operations, strengthening sourcing and expanding the customer network.
Today, Refrigeration Centre serves HVAC & refrigeration contractors, dealers, OEMs, industries, project companies, technicians and customers across India, with products also reaching international markets.
With 45+ years of industry experience, our goal remains simple:
One Stop for All HVAC&R Needs
Built on legacy. Driven by knowledge. Trusted for quality.
How we work.
Distribution is a stock problem, not a sales problem. Our job is to hold the sizes and grades that stop a job — the 3/8" coil, the 7/8" elbow, the pressure control, the cylinder — and to answer the phone when you need one.
We sell wholesale to dealers and contractors, and retail over the counter to anyone who walks in. Same shelf, same stock, different quantity.
Refrigeration Centre also runs chennaihvac.com, our long-standing catalogue site. Same counter, same stock, same phone number.
We do not install, service or maintain equipment. Ask us for parts, gases, tools and consumables — nothing else.

What does Refrigeration Centre sell?
Refrigeration Centre is a wholesale and retail HVAC&R spares stockist at #91/44 Armenian Street, Parrys, Chennai, trading since 1981. It sells copper pipe, copper and brass fittings, insulation, tools, refrigerant gases, compressors, valves and controls, and consumables and tapes — see the full range. It supplies parts only and does no installation or service work.
Do you install or service equipment?
No. Refrigeration Centre supplies parts only — no installation, maintenance or breakdown work. Your engineer stays your engineer.
Is there a minimum order?
None. One flare nut or a hundred metres of coil, same counter.
Do you supply contractors, dealers and projects at wholesale?
Yes. Wholesale supply to HVAC and refrigeration contractors, dealers, OEMs, industry and project companies is the core of Refrigeration Centre’s business, alongside retail sales over the same counter. Send a part list with sizes and quantities and we confirm stock and the trade price on the call.
Do you sell to the public?
Yes. Anyone can buy over the counter at retail, from a single fitting upwards, with a GST invoice on every sale.
Can you dispatch outside Chennai?
Yes. Refrigeration Centre dispatches across India on confirmed orders, with freight quoted alongside the parts. Delivery dates depend on the transporter, and the goods pass to you when they are handed over to the transporter. In Chennai you can also collect from the Parrys counter.
What are your opening hours?
The Parrys counter is open Monday to Saturday, 11:00 AM to 07:00 PM, and closed on Sunday. Stock moves through the day, so call or WhatsApp +91 89399 93555 before you travel for anything critical.
How do I check stock quickly?
Call or WhatsApp the part number — or a photo of the old part — to +91 89399 93555. We check the shelf and answer on the call.
Do you quote in writing?
Yes, on request, by WhatsApp or email. A quotation is valid for the period stated on it, and prices for imported items and refrigerant gases can change after that. The phone is still faster, because stock changes daily.
What payment methods do you accept?
Refrigeration Centre accepts cash, UPI, NEFT/RTGS and cheque. Payment is due in full before or on collection or dispatch.
Do you give a GST invoice?
Yes. Every order is billed on a GST invoice (GSTIN 33AAKPJ2041G1Z6), so trade buyers can claim input tax credit. Trade prices are quoted excluding GST.
What is your return policy?
Unused goods in their original, undamaged packing can be returned by agreement within 7 days of the invoice. Refrigerant gases, cut lengths, special orders and items supplied to your specification cannot be returned. Report any shortage, wrong item or transit damage within 48 hours, quoting the invoice number. Full details are in the terms of sale.
Is copperpipe.in the same business as chennaihvac.com?
Yes. copperpipe.in and chennaihvac.com both belong to Refrigeration Centre, Parrys, Chennai (GSTIN 33AAKPJ2041G1Z6): same counter, same stock, same phone number. Refrigeration Centre in Parrys is not connected with businesses of a similar name in other cities.
