How we quote, supply and invoice — and what this website is and is not.

1. Who you are dealing with

Goods are supplied by Refrigeration Centre, #91/44, Armenian Street, Parrys, Begum Ispahani Complex, Chennai, Tamil Nadu — 600001, India, GST 33AAKPJ2041G1Z6.

2. This website is not a shop

Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, and no price is shown here. The pages describe the categories and sizes we ordinarily hold. A sale happens only when we confirm the item, the quantity and the price with you directly, and issue an invoice.

3. Stock and availability

We do not publish live stock levels on this website, because stock moves through the day. Anything described here as stocked is a normal shelf line, not a guarantee that a specific size is available at a specific moment. 4. Quotations and prices

Prices are quoted on request, per order, and are valid only for the period we state when we quote them. Trade prices are quoted exclusive of GST; GST is charged at the applicable rate and shown on the invoice. Prices for imported items and refrigerant gases can move with cost and duty, so a quotation that has expired will be re-quoted.

5. Payment

Unless we have agreed credit terms with you in writing, payment is due before or on collection or dispatch. Goods remain our property until they are paid for in full.

6. Refrigerant gases

Refrigerants are supplied only to buyers who can show valid trade details, and only for lawful use by competent persons. Cylinders are supplied on the terms of the filler concerned, and any deposit or return arrangement will be stated on the invoice. Handling, storage, transport and recovery of refrigerant are the buyer’s responsibility and must follow the applicable rules.

7. Specification and fitness

Sizes, grades, capacities and equivalents are quoted in good faith on the information you give us. Selecting a part that suits the system, the refrigerant and the duty is the buyer’s or their engineer’s responsibility. We supply parts; we do not design, install, commission or service systems, and we do not take responsibility for the performance of a system we have not worked on.

8. Collection and dispatch

Orders may be collected at the counter or dispatched across Chennai and Tamil Nadu on confirmed orders. Freight is quoted with the parts. Delivery dates are estimates and depend on the transporter. Risk in the goods passes to you on collection, or on handover to the transporter.

9. Shortages and damage

Please check goods when you receive them. Tell us about a shortage, a wrong item or transit damage within 48 hours of collection or delivery, quoting the invoice number, so we can put it right.

10. Returns

Unused goods in original, undamaged packing may be returned by agreement within 7 days of invoice, against the invoice. Refrigerant gases, cut lengths, special orders and items brought in to your specification are not returnable. Where a return is agreed, a handling charge may apply.

11. Warranty

Manufactured items such as compressors, valves, controls and tools carry the manufacturer’s warranty, where one applies, and we will help you make a claim under it. Beyond that warranty, and to the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the invoiced value of the goods concerned. We are not liable for loss of profit, downtime or other indirect loss.

12. Using this website

The text, images and design of this site belong to Refrigeration Centre. Any manufacturer or brand name mentioned belongs to its owner and is used only to describe what a part is or fits — it does not by itself imply that we are an authorised dealer for that brand. Ask us and we will tell you exactly what our position is on a given make.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction.
